Masquerade breach

The masquerade has been blatantly breached by a viral interview with the vampire Colleen Conway. She mentions by name and with excellent photos the vampires Louise Metcalfe, Draven Fourie, Beatrice Faulkner, Leland Bartlett, by name and poor picture the Policeman and Vampire Enzo Abandonata and by name and website photo the Vampire Emily White. She also mentions her vampiric murderer Markus.

Vampires are a topic of interest in the media with both deniers and supporters of the broadcast.

Murders of alleged vampires occur in the following order, with details of the murders coming out over the next few weeks:

Louise Metcalfe: Murdered by a group of vigilante "Vampire hunters", Media reports are that the autopsy indicates that she died from being staked through the heart. Arrests have been made of the group that did so.

Draven Fourie & Beatrice Faulkner: Killed by a car bomb. The culprits have not yet been found.

Emily White: Beheaded in her law office.

The Policeman Enzo Abandonata: Barricaded into his room and burned to death.

While details are sketchy, it is clear from police press releases that there is no indication that the murder victims were anything other than people murdered by thugs.

The media is reporting that the vampire hoax may have been a cover for the activities of a white supremacist terrorist cell.

Public opinion is rapidly turning against the trend of vampire hunting.

Colleen Conway has disappeared without a trace despite a full scale search. Questions are starting to be asked as to her real identity and whether she was part of the white supremacist cell.

The Camarilla express their utmost concern about the fragile state of the Masquerade in Auckland.
