Last night, there was a Balrog sighting in a central Auckland park, although there was only one witness and no-one appears to have been killed. There were signs of an explosion at the site.
There was also a Superette broken in to, with shots being fired. Oddly, no-one appears to have been shot but there are local witnesses who claim that they saw a blur running away from the scene.
A large number of shots were fired at the Avondale Racecourse, but again no-one appears to have been shot and by the time Police arrived, the area was deserted. There are reports of vehicles leaving the area rapidly. Police are investigating security camera footage.
